Christ the King, Bass Hill- We are the people of Christ the King. Inflamed by the Holy Spirit, we will make Christ’s Kingdom our only life in the here and now. – This is our Parish motto.

We are a welcoming, supportive medium size group, parishioners from different cultural background but with the same strong love for Christ our Lord and our Church. We are called to make Christ present in our parish, in our local community and in our world.

The Parish runs a successful combined school and parish base sacramental programs. Our Candidates come from both the catholic and public school system. Some of our parishioners serve in many ministries, such as the catechist program involving parishioners providing religion classes to Catholic pupils in local public schools.

Our mission is to know Christ and to make him known; to be a community committed to discovering Christ present in each person through our ministry to each other, our service to the wider community, the joyful celebration of the Eucharist and other sacraments, and our active concern for social justice.

We have a close link with the St Vincent de Paul Society. A number of our church members volunteer in the Vinnies Piety Stall and visit elderly in our local community.
